Lego Cupcakes

Here are some Lego cupcakes I made for a little boy's birthday.  They are chocolate Lego mini figures and fondant Lego bricks placed on top of full size cupcakes.  So cute! 

Wedding Shower Cake

This cake order came in for a wedding shower.  It is a 12" round white cake with vanilla frosting.  The design came from the bride's shower invitation... pink and yellow flowers with green vines and leaves.  * Please see the "Rave Reviews" tab to see what this customer thought of the cake. *

Mini Butterfly Cupcakes

These mini chocolate cupcakes were for a 7 year old girl's birthday.  She requested chocolate cupcakes with butterflies in teal, purple, pink and yellow.   The butterflies were all hand made with milk chocolate and colored white chocolate.  

Spiderman 4th Birthday

My son's 4th birthday came with a fascination for superheroes and he helped me design this Spiderman cake and cupcakes.

Lemon & Pudding Cake

This year, for my Grandmother's birthday I decided to focus on her favorite flavors for the cake - lemon and raspberry.  This is a lemon cake with a lemon pudding filling between the two layers.  It has a delicious whipped cream & cream cheese frosting and the decorations are lemon curls and raspberries.  The guests at the party said it was the best cake they had ever eaten... after a 10 minute silence while they all enjoyed it.

30th Anniversary Cake

For my parents 30th anniversary, I wanted to make a cake with pearls and tiger lilies - the gem and flower that represent the 30th year of marriage.  I was hoping for something classic that looked like a wedding cake.  Here is what I created...

It seems to be the week of 40th birthdays.  This one was made for a colleague for his partner's 40th birthday.  The theme...Mario Kart!  The cake needed to travel in the car for several hours to be enjoyed on a camping trip, so to keep it simple, this is what I came up with...
